{"id":2385,"date":"2024-01-31T19:14:17","date_gmt":"2024-01-31T16:14:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambkiev.esteri.it\/?p=2385"},"modified":"2024-02-01T12:18:56","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T09:18:56","slug":"g7-ambassadors-support-group-in-ukraine-priorities-for-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambkiev.esteri.it\/it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2024\/01\/g7-ambassadors-support-group-in-ukraine-priorities-for-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"G7 Ambassadors\u2019 Support Group in Ukraine: Priorities for 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>G7 Ambassadors\u2019 Support Group in Ukraine: Priorities for 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The G7 Ambassadors&#8217; Support Group in Ukraine was established by a decision of the Leaders at the 2015 Elmau Summit: since its inception, the Group has supported the domestic reform process in Ukraine, working with Ukrainian institutions, primarily the Government and the Parliament, civil society, business and experts.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, the G7 Support Group will renew its full support to the Government and people of Ukraine on their domestic reform path, with a particular focus on strengthening the rule of law, tackling corruption, judicial reform, decentralization, promotion of democracy and transition to green economy. These are key issues for Ukraine&#8217;s resilience, reconstruction and recovery, as well as for its path towards integration into the Euro-Atlantic community.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the Italian Embassy is responsible for coordinating and steering the Group&#8217;s action. We publish today the priorities for 2024 as jointly defined by the Embassies of Italy, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and the Delegation of the European Union in Kyiv.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ambkiev.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/ENG_G7SG-PRIORITIES-2024_PRESS.pdf\">Read the priorities document.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>___________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gruppo di Supporto degli Ambasciatori G7 in Ucraina: Priorit\u00e0 per il 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Il Gruppo di Supporto degli Ambasciatori G7 in Ucraina \u00e8 stato istituito per decisione dei Leader al Summit di Elmau del 2015: dalla sua nascita, il Gruppo ha appoggiato il processo di riforme interne in Ucraina, lavorando con le istituzioni ucraine, in primo luogo il Governo e il Parlamento, con la societ\u00e0 civile, le imprese e gli esperti.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2024, il Gruppo di Supporto G7 rinnover\u00e0 il suo pieno sostegno al Governo e al popolo ucraino nel proprio percorso di riforme interne, con particolare riferimento al rafforzamento dello Stato di diritto, al contrasto alla corruzione, alla riforma giudiziaria, alla decentralizzazione, alla promozione della democrazia ed alla transizione verso un\u2019economia verde. Si tratta di temi fondamentali per la resilienza, la ricostruzione e la ripresa dell\u2019Ucraina, nonch\u00e9\u2019 per il suo percorso di integrazione nella comunit\u00e0 euro-atlantica.<\/p>\n<p>Quest\u2019anno spetta all\u2019Ambasciata d\u2019Italia il coordinamento e l\u2019impulso dell\u2019azione del Gruppo.
